Over a forty year career three major areas of expertise have been developed; Residential housing has always been one of his areas of interest starting with the resale market. In the early years of the company this interest led to a strong marketing perspective. Which then evolved into developing and marketing very successful single and multi family housing projects. High end home marketing and trending experience led the way to a very rounded and varied residential department.
The next opportunity that occurred was in the Investment and Property Management group, that was established in 1978 and continues to serve our Real Estate Investors today. This was made possible by the series of courses, which he had completed towards a Certified Commercial Investment Manager designation. He had completed 5 of the 6 required courses, which gave him the necessary educational background needed to give solid advice in Commercial Investment Real Estate markets.
With the exodus of manufacturing in the early 1980's an on the "job training" led to a very successful Industrial Real Estate business. This background has been useful in aiding both public and private sector corporations, in the creation of new and preservation of exiting job opportunities, within the Western PA region.
Lastly because of these varied business opportunities he was able to volunteer and lend advice and expertise to many non-profits; Seton Hill University (12yrs), Eastern Westmoreland Ind. Dev. Corp. Chairman (8yr), Greater Latrobe Area Dev. Corp. Chairman (8yrs), Saint Vincent College Small Business Dev. (6yrs), Adelphoi Village Inc. Chairman (13yrs), Adelphoi Inc. Chairman (11yrs), Adelphoi USA Chairman (3yrs), Westmoreland Community College Business Dev. (4yrs), Latrobe Area Hospital Board (4yrs), and Excela Health Systems Treasurer (5yrs).
